Her Nursing Path

There is something incredibly powerful about a person who chooses to dedicate their life to caring for others — who decides that their purpose will be to ease someone else's pain, hold someone's hand through fear, and bring comfort where there is suffering. Maheen, that is exactly who you are choosing to be, and I could not be more proud of you.

Nursing is not an easy path. It demands your time, your energy, your emotional strength, and your patience — all at once, every single day. There will be long hours, hard exams, exhausting shifts, and moments where you wonder if you have enough left in you to keep going. In those moments, I want you to remember this:

I believe in your ability to become a brilliant nurse — not just because you are intelligent and driven, but because of the warmth and empathy you carry naturally. You genuinely care about people. That is not something every person has. It is a gift, and in nursing it will make you extraordinary.

Whenever you feel overwhelmed by your studies, I want you to talk to me. I will sit with you, work through it with you, encourage you when your confidence dips, and celebrate every single milestone with you — every passed exam, every completed clinical, every small win.

And when you graduate — when you stand in your uniform, proud and radiant — I want to be the person right there, watching with tears in my eyes, knowing I witnessed every step of the journey that brought you there.
