To Her Mother

Dear Auntie (Maheen's beloved Mama),

I want to begin by saying something I feel very deeply: thank you. Thank you for raising Maheen with such care, grace, and warmth. The kindness she carries in her heart, the empathy she shows to everyone around her, and the quiet dignity she walks with — all of that comes from the love you poured into her. She is a reflection of you, and she is extraordinary.
